Key Changes and Requirements
1. E-learning Modules Availability — Annexure-I
E-learning modules for twenty-three STCW modular courses are now available on the e-learning platform.
- Passing Percentage: Subject to change by the Directorate
2. Mandatory E-learning Completion
Candidates must complete the e-learning modules for the listed courses before attending MTIs and passing exit examinations.
3. MTI Certificate Generation
MTIs cannot generate certificates for candidates who have not successfully completed the e-learning modules for the respective courses.
4. Enrollment and Completion Deadline
Candidates have 180 days from enrollment to complete the e-learning modules and pass the exit examination. Failure to do so requires re-enrollment.
