1. Online Application Process — for In-principle approval and course approval
The Directorate General of Shipping (DGS) has introduced an online application process for seeking In-principle approval for opening a new maritime training institute and approval of maritime courses.
- Steps: Follow the given steps to apply online at www.dgshipping.gov.in
- Fees: Pay application fees online and upload required documents
- Status Tracking: Track application status online
- Presentation: Institutes may be called for presentation; upon satisfactory presentation, approval will be accorded
Note: Hard copy proposals will not be accepted by the Directorate from the date of issue of this circular
