1. Merchant Navy Week Celebrations
The Merchant Navy week is to be observed pan India from Wednesday, the 29th February to Saturday, the 4th March 2017. The Photo exhibition and Main function for the 54th Nation Maritime Day celebrations is scheduled to be held at Mumbai on 4th and 5th April 2017.

- Venue: Mumbai
- Chief Guest: Shri Nitin Gadkari, Honorable Minister of Shipping, Road Transport and Highways, Government of India
2. Contribution Request
The stakeholders of the Indian maritime industry are requested to contribute towards the 54th Nation Maritime Day celebrations. The amount may please be remitted by cheque/demand draft, drawn in favor of the 'Nation Maritime Day Celebrations (Central).'
