Key Changes and Requirements
1. Safety Video Series Promotion
DGS has launched a comprehensive Safety Video Series to enhance safety awareness and prevent accidents. These videos are highly recommended for all seafarers and trainees.
- Availability: Videos are available on the DGS YouTube Channel (@DGShipping-India) and can be accessed via the playlist here.
- Mandatory Viewing: All new joiners must view the videos at induction or prior to joining a vessel.
- Integration into Training: MTIs and RPSL companies must incorporate the videos into mandatory training modules. Other stakeholders should integrate them into pre-sea, post-sea, and safety indoctrination training.
