Key Changes and Requirements
1. Alternate Training Course
Engineer officers who couldn't upgrade their CoCs due to the unavailability of the 11-day Refresher and Updating Training Course can now undergo the preparatory course of the same grade as their current CoC or one grade higher.
- Duration: 3 days
- Course: Preparatory course of the same grade as the CoC held or one grade higher
2. Revalidation of CoC
All other requirements as per DGS Circular 143 of 2018 have to be followed for the revalidation of CoC issued under STCW 2010.
