Advisory for candidates applying online for CDC.
Key Changes and Requirements
1. CDC Eligibility Changes
The Government of India has started issuing CDC to candidates who are Xth Class passed, have a valid passport, are medically fit, and have completed the 5 Basic STCW Modular Courses.
- Refresher Courses: PST and FPFF are to be undertaken every five years
2. Addressing Application Issues
The Directorate has noticed issues where candidates are unable to apply for CDC online due to errors in the e-governance system caused by incorrect course listings in the Master Checker. Candidates are advised not to repeat PST and FPFF courses if their Refresher courses are already uploaded.
Candidates are advised to wait until 15th February, 2018 to review the online CDC application process and avoid agents.
Candidates are advised to stay away from agents and follow the official process to avoid any further issues.
