Trouble description: Replacing the main air compressor with a newly supplied unit with different maker and

Trouble description: Replacing the main air compressor with a newly supplied unit with different maker and design.

We have recieved a used compressor that is different from the existing main air compressors. We have no spare hoses, no critical spares, air filters or oil filters no vibration mountings etc and no electrical spares like contactor for the new one. How safe is it to install this one?
