DG not starting. Huge air leak sound heard during starting.

This Man B&W 9L32/40 engine is quipped with traditional main starting valve, starting-air pilot/control valves, individual cylinder starting valves, control air.

During starting, the starting air is not going properly to the engine and is venting out with a loud noise.

Measures Taken: We drained the starting-air bottle, turned the engine on the turning gear/turned the engine, and replaced the OMD filters.

After this, the DG started successfully once. However, after stopping and trying to start again remotely, the same problem occurred.

ALARMS -

1. START FAIL
2. OMD SYSTEM FAIL

Key observations:

1. Starting air pressure available.
2. Starting air is venting with a loud noise during start.
3. Engine is not receiving/using starting air properly.

Please advise what should be checked next, especially the main starting valve, starting-air pilot/control valves, individual cylinder starting valves, control air, and remote starting sequence/interlocks.

Update:

The sound is coming from stop solenoid valve.

From remote when I give start signal the air is leaking, while it is leaking if I give stop command the engine is starting
