UK’s military needs to focus spending on domestic defence, not overseas missions – report

A UK thinktank report has warned that the country's military is too focused on global commitments at the expense of domestic defence.

The report suggests that the government's planned increase in defence spending is likely to result in even greater waste if the focus remains on overseas missions.

The thinktank calls for a shift in focus towards domestic defence and a review of the UK's outdated foreign policy.
