CJP protest: Airfares soar as train services hit; slight rise in last-minute bookings

Airfares have increased due to disruptions in train services caused by the ongoing protests against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and the National Register of Citizens (NRC).

Last-minute bookings have also seen a slight rise as passengers look for alternative modes of transport.

The protests have been ongoing for several weeks now, with no signs of abating.
