Is the Man City controversy the biggest story in Premier League history?

The Premier League's independent commission has found Manchester City guilty of serious misconduct, potentially leading to a points deduction and a ban from European competitions. This could significantly impact the club's future in the league and their ability to attract top talent.

The verdict comes ahead of City's crucial match against Liverpool today, which could decide the Premier League title race.

The club has been accused of breaching financial fair play rules, with the commission finding that City had overstated their sponsorship income and failed to cooperate with the investigation.

The decision has sent shockwaves through the football world, with many pundits and fans debating the potential consequences for the club and the league as a whole.
