Flash flood sweeps away buildings in Nepal

Flash flooding in Nepal has swept away buildings along the Budhi Gandaki river on Sunday, causing significant damage and disruption to local communities.

While this is a tragic event, it does not have a direct impact on seafarers and is not a global news story, scoring a 5 on Axis A.

However, as Nepal is a landlocked country with a significant number of seafarers, this event could indirectly affect their families and communities, scoring a 6 on Axis B.
