Most Efficient Inland Port System Named

The St. Louis Metro Port system has been named the most efficient inland port system in the U.S. by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. It ranks first in cargo tonnage per river mile and fourth in total tonnage among seven major inland port districts. This is a recurring achievement for the system, which has held this title since 2024.
