Capital Axis behind capesize deal of the year

Greek owner Capital Axis Maritime is reportedly selling a newbuilding capesize vessel, Arriktos, for $90 million, which is the highest-priced capesize transaction of 2026.

The 181,250 dwt vessel is under construction at China's Hengli Shipbuilding and is expected to attract Chinese buyers.
