LD Armateurs unveils world’s first six-sail cargo ship

French shipowner LD Armateurs has installed six Norsepower rotor sails on the Spirit of Toulouse, making it the world's first cargo vessel with six mechanical sails.

The ship is being built in China for Airbus logistics work and is the lead vessel in a three-ship series designed to transport large aircraft components.
