Can’t browbeat us, says Supreme Court, seeks replies from CEC, ECs on opposition plea

The Supreme Court has rebuked the Centre and the Election Commission for trying to browbeat it over its order to hold Assembly elections in Punjab along with other states. The Court has sought replies from the Chief Election Commissioner and other Election Commissioners on an opposition plea.
