‘Was talking about cricket’: Rajasthan BJP chief as ‘Pakistan over US’ remark snowballs

Rajasthan BJP chief Satish Poonia has clarified his recent remarks about preferring Pakistan over the US, stating that he was merely discussing cricket. The remark had sparked a controversy and led to criticism from the opposition Congress party.

Poonia had said that he would prefer to be in Pakistan over the US, given the choice, during a recent event. However, he later clarified that his remarks were taken out of context and that he was merely engaging in a friendly banter about cricket.
