Romanian Officials Indicted in €7 Million EU-Funded Tugboat Fraud

Four Romanian officials and two others were indicted for allegedly defrauding the EU of €7 million in a tugboat procurement scheme.

The defendants are accused of purchasing two tugboats at inflated prices, intended to improve navigation on the Lower Danube River.
