Drone-hit boxship sinks off Bulgaria

The Greek-managed containership Contship Jet has sunk off Bulgaria after being struck by three sea drones yesterday, as Russia claims further attacks on merchant vessels heading towards Ukrainian ports. The Liberian-flagged vessel, operated by Contships Management, was sailing from Haifa to Constanta when it was attacked approximately 17 nautical miles east of Cape Kaliakra. All 23 crew members were safely evacuated.
