1. Medical Examiners Registration
The Directorate General of Shipping (DGS) requires all approved medical examiners to register themselves on the e-governance system.
- Action: Register on the e-governance system
- Deadline: Latest by 28th January 2018

2. Uploading Medical Fitness Details
Medical examiners are required to upload the medical fitness details of Indian seafarers on the e-governance system.
- Action: Follow the steps mentioned to upload medical fitness details
- Effective Date: 1st February 2018

It is mandatory to enter medical fitness of seafarers as per the above procedure from 1st February 2018.
