Key Changes and Requirements

Near Coastal Voyage (NCV) examinations for Engineering grades will now be conducted on electronic mode using tablets.

Tablet-based: Applicable for most papers except where specialized drawings or data are not supported on tablets.
Venue: IMEl house, Nerul for Engineering grades. Separate notification for Nautical Grade NCV Examination.

Examinations will start from December 2016 (for MEO Cl. IV (NCV)) and January 2017 (for MEO Cl. III (NCV-SEO) Part B).
