Key Changes and Requirements
1. New Eligibility Criteria for DME Course
The minimum academic qualifications for the 2-year Diploma in Marine Engineering (DME) course have been modified.
- Eligible Diplomas: Mechanical, Marine, Naval Architecture, Electrical, Electrical and Electronics, or Ship Building Engineering
- Minimum Marks: 50% in final year and 50% in English at 10th, 12th, or Diploma level
II/4 Minimum academic qualifications for DME course
- Diploma in Mechanical/... - 50% in final year & 50% in English
- Diploma in Ship Building - 50% in final year (4-year course) & 50% in English
