Key Changes and Requirements
1. Revised Course Curriculum
The syllabus for Chief Mate (NCV) Phase-I and Phase-II Course has been revised to incorporate amendments to the STCW Convention till date, including the 2010 Manila Amendments.
- Annexures: Revised syllabus, standard certificate formats, examination summary, and reference materials.
2. Course Commencement
Chief Mate (NCV) Phase-I and Phase-II Course shall commence on the 15th day of each month, or the following working day, as prescribed in the Annual Schedule of Courses and Examinations published on the DGS website.
