Key Changes and Requirements
1. Registration Requirements
Shipping Companies, agencies, or employers must remit seamen's provident fund and submit the following documents to the Commissioner, SPFO, Mumbai:
- Memorandum of Articles of Association
- Certificate of Incorporation
- RPS License
- TAN Registration
- Income Tax PAN Number of Individual Directors
2. Form II Submission
Submit Form II to the Commissioner, SPFO, Mumbai, with the above documents. Form II includes details of Owners, Agents, Directors, Partners, Manager, or any other person having ultimate control over the company's affairs.
3. Intimation of Changes
Intimate any changes in the submitted particulars within 15 days of the change to the Commissioner, SPFO, by registered post.
