Key Changes and Requirements
1. Registry Transfer Extension
The validity of DGS Order No. 1 of 2015 is extended until 31.03.16 to facilitate the change of registry from current Registrars to respective new Registrars under State/UT Administrations.
2. Surveyors' Responsibilities
Surveyors under respective MMDs will continue registration, survey, and certification of Indian flag fishing boats until 31.03.16. Equipped maritime State/UT authorities may perform these tasks as per Government notifications.
