Key Changes and Requirements
1. Online Application and Document Submission
Applications for replacement/duplicate CDCs are now to be made online. Supporting documents and photographs can be scanned and uploaded in the online system.
- Online Application: Available on the official website of DG Shipping
- Document Submission: Scanned documents and photographs can be uploaded in the online system
2. Fee Payment and CDC Issuance
Applicants can pay the specified official fee through debit card/credit card/net banking using the existing e-payment gateway facility. No hard copy of the application form and enclosures needs to be sent to the Shipping Master's office.
- Fee Payment: Through debit card/credit card/net banking using the e-payment gateway
- CDC Issuance: No hard copy of the application form and enclosures needs to be sent
3. Endorsement and Return of Existing CDC
In cases of torn/defaced/mutilated CDCs or exhausted pages, the applicant is required to send the existing CDC to the jurisdictional Shipping Master for endorsement and return.
- Endorsement: Existing CDC to be sent to the Shipping Master with the application number
- Return: Endorsed CDC will be returned with the new CDC issued
This Notice shall come into force with immediate effect.
