Implementation of Aadhar Enabled Biometric Attendance System (AEBAS) w.e.f. 06.04.15.

Key Changes and Requirements

1. AEBAS Implementation

The Directorate General of Shipping has introduced the 'Aadhar Enabled Biometric Attendance System' (AEBAS) effective 06.04.2015.

Procedure: Open the 'BAS' software, enter the last 8 digits of your Aadhar Card number, place a finger on the scanner, and confirm the attendance.
Devices: 10 Finger Print Scanner devices have been installed on desktops of officials/branches.

2. Compliance and Registration

All officials are required to record their attendance through AEBAS from 06.04.2015. Those not yet registered are advised to do so immediately on the website dgosmu.attendance.gov.in.
