Key Changes and Requirements
1. E-payment and Document Submission Changes
To reduce office footfalls and ease transactions, the following changes are being implemented:
- E-payment: Introduced or to be introduced in various modules for online fee payment.
- Document Submission: Simplified processes and online uploading of scanned documents allowed in many modules.
2. Module-specific Changes
- Voyage Charter: E-payment and online chartering permission download available since 13.11.14.
- Remnant Licensing: E-payment and online permission download planned for 08.12.14.
- Examination: Online assessment, seat booking, and e-payment for COC exams planned for 01.01.15.
- CDC, MTO, INDoS, Ship Registration & Mortgage: E-payment, document uploading, and process simplifications planned for Jan-Feb 2015.
