Key Changes and Requirements
1. Welfare Fund Contributions
The Ministry of Shipping has issued guidelines for contributions to the Seafarers Welfare Fund Society. RPS service providers are required to ensure these contributions are made by shipowners/employers.
- Contribution Frequency: Quarterly, starting from 01.04.14
- Responsibility: All RPS service providers are advised to duly note and comply with these requirements.
