Key Changes and Requirements
1. Certificate Format Revision
The format of the Certificate of Competency (CoC) for Cooks in the Merchant Navy has been revised to a bilingual format.
- Annexure-I: Revised bilingual format of the CoC
2. Issuance of Certificates
Shipping Masters at Govt. Shipping Offices in Mumbai, Chennai, and Kolkata are advised to issue CoCs for Cooks in the revised format.
