1. Visitor Access Management System (VAMS) Implementation — DGS Order 07 of 2025
The DGS has launched VAMS, a digital solution for modernizing visitor tracking, enhancing security, and improving operational efficiency.
- Mandatory: All visitors and DGS officers must register on the VAMS portal.
- Appointment: Visitors must seek an appointment prior to visiting the DGS office.
- User Manuals: Annexures 1 and 2 provide user manuals for visitors and DGS officers, respectively.
2. VAMS App and Web Access — Accessible via web browsers and mobile app
VAMS is accessible via web browsers and can be downloaded from the Google Play Store for Android users.
