Key Changes and Requirements
1. Refresher Course Optional
The Refresher Course for repeater candidates is now optional. They need not attend the course as previously required.
2. New Guidelines for Repeater Candidates
- Direct Online Application: Repeater candidates can apply online directly to the Board of Examination for Seafarers without routing through MTIs.
- Exam Centre Selection: Candidates can select three options for the examination centres. The centre will be allotted based on slot availability.
- Certification: Upon passing the Exit Examination, the pass certificate will be issued directly by the BES to the candidate's postal address.
