Key Changes and Requirements
1. New Procedure for ILO Endorsement on CDCs
To facilitate quick issuance of ILO endorsements on old CDCs, follow this new procedure:
- Step 1: Submit CDC in person to jurisdictional Shipping Master Office between 1000hrs to 1200hrs on any working day.
- Step 2: Shipping Master will affix ILO stamping on the same day. Collect CDC back between 1600hrs to 1700hrs.
- Step 3: Apply well in advance to avoid last-minute delays.
Note: New CDCs printed after July 2009 already have the ILO stamping embedded.
Important Note
This order is effective from the date of issue. Shipping Masters in Mumbai, Chennai, and Kolkata should take necessary action.
