Key Changes and Requirements
1. Additional Candidates for SSO & Medical Courses
Institutes conducting SSO, Medical First Aid (MFA), and Medical Care courses can induct additional candidates for specific modules, subject to the following conditions:
- SSO Upgradation: Approved capacity and frequency not exceeded, and DG Shipping's written approval obtained.
- MFA Refresher: Approved capacity and frequency not exceeded, and DG Shipping's written approval obtained.
- Medical Care Refresher: Approved capacity and frequency not exceeded, and DG Shipping's written approval obtained.
2. Stand-Alone Modules Prohibited
Institutes are not permitted to conduct SSO Upgradation, MFA Refresher, or Medical Care Refresher courses as stand-alone modules.
Important Note
No applications for approval of the said modules as stand-alone courses shall be entertained.
