Conversion to SGED/FV (E)/FVED(M) to NCV Grade Oral Examination for conversion to NCV grade

Applicable to: Candidates who appeared for SGED/FV (E)/FVED (M) exams after 1st Jan 2003

Key Changes and Requirements

Candidates who appeared for SGED/FV (E)/FVED (M) exams after 1st Jan 2003 must now appear for an Oral Examination for conversion to NCV grade.

Commencement: Class IV (NCV) Orals after completion of required sea service
Progression: Follow flow diagram No.4 as per META manual vol. 1 after Class IV (NCV)

Applications for the above-mentioned examinations should be submitted in Form15.

'DGS Final Register' of successful candidates should be forwarded to the Directorate after filling in necessary columns.
