Key Changes and Requirements
1. Course Curriculum Revision
The course curriculum for the Four Years Degree Course in Marine Engineering has been revised to align with the 2010 Manila Amendments to the STCW Convention.
- Course Duration: Total teaching hours increased to 4400 hours.

- Syllabus: Annexure-II
2. Transitional Provisions
Candidates starting Pre-Sea courses after 1st July 2012 will follow the revised curriculum. Those starting before will need to upgrade their course if the 2010 amendments were not included.
