Key Changes and Requirements
1. Eligibility Criteria
New eligibility criteria for Bachelors Degree in Mechanical & Automation Engineering stream for GME Course entry.
- Eligible Degree: Bachelors in Mechanical & Automation Engineering (4 years, 50% marks)
- English Language: Minimum 50% marks at 10th or 12th standard or in Degree Examination
- Age Limit: Maximum 28 years
2. Examination Requirements
Candidates with the new eligibility must pass the following MEO Class examinations:
- MEO Class IV [Part A]: Heat Engines written paper
- MEO Class II [Part A]: Thermodynamics and Heat Transmission written paper
Note: These conditions should be mentioned in passing out certificates and communicated to MMDs.
