1. INDoS Checker Introduction
The Directorate of Shipping has introduced the Indian National Database of Seafarers' (INDoS) checker to combat fraudulent activities and ensure seafarers are employed through registered RPS providers.
- Purpose: To verify seafarers' credentials and RPS providers' authorization.
- Access: Through the DG Shipping website (www.dgshipping.com)
2. Verification and Discrepancies
In case of data mismatch, the verifying authority or aggrieved seafarer can contact the DG Shipping office for clarification.

- Response Time: Urgent basis
