Key Changes and Requirements

The 2010 Manila Amendments to the STCW Convention have entered into force. Consequently, the course curriculum for MEO Class I has been revised.

Revised Course Curriculum: Annexure I (Competence Table) and Annexure II (Syllabus) are attached.
Implementation: The revised curriculum comes into force on 1st June, 2012 for new batches.

II/4 Training institutes are expected to follow these guidelines strictly.
