Key Changes and Requirements
1. Revised Training Tasks and Criteria
The 2010 Manila Amendments to the STCW Convention have entered into force. The tasks to be performed and criteria for satisfactory performance for Marine Engineering training at the operational level have been revised.
- Training Outline: Workshop training, followed by onboard training, and MEO CLASS IV course (if applicable)
- Effective Date: 1st June, 2012 for new batches
