Key Changes and Requirements
1. Revised Training Tasks and Criteria
The 2010 Manila Amendments to the STCW Convention have been implemented. The tasks to be performed and criteria for satisfactory performance in Marine Engineering training for operational level certification have been revised.
- Training Outline: Attached as Annexure I
- Effective Date: 1st June, 2012 for new batches
II/4 Training institutes are expected to follow these guidelines strictly.
