Key Changes and Requirements
1. Expansion of Approved MTIs for Electro Technical Officer Course
The DGS has reviewed and expanded the criteria for MTIs to conduct the Electro Technical Officer course.
- New Category (i): MTIs approved for Engine Department courses, with prior NOC from DGS.
- New Category (ii): MTIs conducting a 4-month Electro Technical Officer course in the last 2 years, meeting DGS requirements.
Application: MTIs complying with all applicable requirements may apply to DGS for course approval.
Effective: This circular enters into force immediately.
