Key Changes and Requirements
1. Hose Diameter and Lining
Hose diameter shall be maximum 64 mm and minimum 38 mm. They shall be lined.
2. Fire Main, Water Service Pipes, and Hydrants
All water pipes and fire hydrants shall be placed for easy coupling of fire hoses. If bayonet type couplings are used, a spanner shall be provided near the hydrant.
