Key Changes and Requirements
1. Levy Fee Enhancement
The seamen’s levy fee paid by owners and agents of Indian shipping companies has been increased from ₹250 to ₹500 for every seaman engaged based on the Articles of Agreement.

II/4 Compliance
Owners/agents must abide by the Government Gazette Notification and pay the revised fee.
