1. Permission to use Fishing Boats as Chase Boats
The Coastal Shipping Branch has issued a circular regarding the permission to use fishing boats for chase boat operations as per DGS letter no. CS/MISC-2005-2006 dated 09.09.2010.
- Applicable Boats: List of fishing boats used for chase boat operations while issuing Special Permit Licenses (SPL) to survey vessels under section 407 of the Merchant Shipping Act, 1958.
- Action Required: Upload the lists on the DGS website immediately, linked to the S. D. Branch.
