Implementation of 'Ship Registration & Mortgage e-Module online

Key Changes and Requirements
1. Trial Period & Helpdesk
The e-Module will be live from 15th June to 30th June 2011 on a trial basis. During this period, helpdesk numbers 022-22613651/2/3/4, Extn. Nos. 282/283 can be used for assistance.
2. Mandatory Implementation & Discontinuation of Manual Applications
From 1st July 2011, the online system implementation will become mandatory. Acceptance of manual applications for Ship Registration & Mortgage will thereafter discontinue, except in contingencies where the domain server is non-functional for a substantial period of time.
Annex 1 provides the salient functional features of the e-Module.
Important Note
MMDs are advised to follow the 'User Manual' provided for all internal processes of various online applications.
