Key Changes and Requirements
1. Approved Doctors List
The Directorate General of Shipping has approved 204 medical examiners for various ports and places in India.
- Consolidated List: Alphabetical order of State/City
2. Renewal and Validity
Approved medical examiners up to 65 years old do not need to renew their approval. Those over 65 can extend their approval as per MS Notice 23 of 2010.
The validity of approval is subject to timely submission of periodical returns and compliance with relevant rules and notices.

Important Note
Non-compliance with rules and directives may lead to infringement. Report any such cases to the Director General of Shipping.
