Implementation of E-Governance System - commencement of Batch Details'Module

Key Changes and Requirements
1. Online Batch Details Submission
All approved maritime training institutes must submit 'Batch details' online for all DGS approved courses commenced on or after 1.1.2011, at the beginning and on completion of the course.
- Format: Available on e-Samudra Link
- Procedure: Detailed procedure enclosed at Annexure-I
2. Placement Record Submission
Placement records for all pre-sea courses completed on or after 1.1.2011 must be submitted online.
3. Training Sessions
Training sessions for operation of this module will be arranged at 4 locations. A training fee of Rs.1000/- per participant will be charged.
- Locations: D.G. Shipping, MMD, Chennai; MMD, Kolkata and MMD, Delhi
- Schedule: Will be intimated in due course
Important Note
Minor errors may be modified upon request, but major or repeated errors may result in penalty, including reduction in intake.
