1. Clarification of Designation
The Directorate has clarified that an engineer officer holding MEO Class IV Part A must be posted as an Assistant Engineer Officer (AEO).
- Designation: Assistant Engineer Officer (AEO)
- Role: Assist the watch-keeping engineer
II/4 Assistant Engineer Officer
Important Note
This clarification should be clearly mentioned in the sea time certificate of the officer.
