1. ISM Code Applicability Clarification
All Indian-registered cargo ships with GT > 500, regardless of their operation area, must comply with the ISM Code.
- Compliance Date: 01.01.2010
- Non-compliance: Not following this clarification may lead to non-compliance with the Merchant Shipping Act.
